Chelsea, Tottenham, Charlton, Fulham, Leyton Orient, West Ham, Wimbledon, Crystal Palace, Watford, Stevenage, Southampton, and Wembley are all places south of Watford Gap where we haven't won since November 29th 1997...

But on Wednesday 18th December 2001 we WON at ARSENAL, which is in LONDON.

Better still, we went top of the league and Alan Shearer broke into a new
century of goals by crossing Highbury off his list of grounds not scored at.

But what must really wind up the telly personalities and biased Arsenal-loving southern media, were the off the ball antics of Alan Shearer.

Alan Shearer dumbfounded his hate squad by appealing to referee Poll not to send off Ray Parlour and then try to calm down a hysterical Thierry Henry. Matthew Norman were you watching??

It was all too much for The Times' Oliver Holt who had to invent a Shearer
elbow on Keown to make up for it!
