The double comeback against Bolton made it quite a week. Three wins in seven days scoring ten goals - four via the boot or head of an ex-England captain.

Incredibly Shearer seems to have gained an extra yard of pace, according to the press whose slagging contributed in no small way to his England retirement.

Al's goals and partnership with the Welsh whippet, Bellamy, obviously point
to a bit of form but a recall from Sven is just a hack's fanciful hypocrisy.

Interesting cheers at half-time on Saturday. Apparently we'd rather see
the mackems get a caning at Man United than our first title for 75 years...

That might be a bit harsh - it's a reflex action to laugh uncontrollably
when anyone puts four past them as their slide downwards gathers momentum.

It's nice to be able laugh hard at the unwashed as they lambast their simian-featured leader. However a win at their place is more vital for the title.
