We knew it was going to be an important week and starting the first tea-time tussle with Arsenal minus Craig Bellamy was a big loss for us. But so was Henry's absence for the visitors.

In the end the defeat was comprehensive and so was the 3-0 loss at Anfield, but just as the season threatened to go pear-shaped, we turn in a barn-stormer in the FA Cup quarter-final.

This time we outfought and outplayed Arsenal in every department. Or did we?

Some headlines claimed Robert's goal "rescued" us from the jaws of defeat.

Being rescued a full 38 minutes from the end of a game we dominated more
than Liverpool did our game at Anfield (according to the stats) is intriguing.

Some claimed the Anfield game was one where we were lucky to escape with just a 3-0 defeat. So, either SKY and Opta's stats are totally worthless or the media are biased and ignorant.

Both distinct possibilities, actually...
