"I was delighted with the way they approached the game.
"There was some great football and I was probably as pleased as I have been in the whole pre-season.
"It was a young team and they played good football.
"It was one of those games where you didn't want the first half to end as the second would always be an anti climax.
"And Lewis showed he's got that striker's instinct in him. You can't coach that, it's instinctive."
