They Also Play in Black & White

TAPIBAW No 1 - Tooting & Mitcham United (England)
In tribute to their fine 3-0 victory over Worthing in the FA Cup at Sandy Lane on September 2nd 2000 (witnessed by your correspondent), "The Terrors" are the first to feature in this spot.

TAPIBAW No 2 - Vissel Kobe (Japan)

Thanks are due to our man in the land of the Rising Sun, John Dean for this beauty. Vissel play in the J-League, where they aren't having the best of times, but are still above the wonderfully-titled Kyoto Purple Sanga.

TAPIBAW No 3 - Midleton (R.O.I.)

Number three in our series comes from the twisted mind of NUFC.com diehard Phil Jones, a man with way too much time on his hands. The Magpies of Midleton FC hail from East Cork and their Knockgriffin Park plays host to 9 sides, including the senior team coached by Liam O'Brien - but not that one....

TAPIBAW No 4 - RS Charleroi (Belgium)

The handsome gentleman modelling our latest black and white counterpart is of course  none other than the Prince, Philippe Albert (formerly of this Parish.)

Les Zebres were in the news over the Summer as England fans rearranged garden furniture during Euro 2000, but since then the 30,000 capacity Stad Communal has returned to it's usual tranquil self, with the team in mid-table.

TAPIBAW No 5 - Adelaide Force (Australia)

Spin that globe again and see where we land....It's Australia and the Socceroo Aurelio Vidmar in his club colours of Adelaide Force (formerly known as Juventus, which may explain the stripes.)

Thanks to David L. for this one.
