Mark "Skip" Boyd grabbed the winner for our reserves as they beat the Honest Men 2-1 in a testimonial game for John "Snakey" Traynor.

While we were up there, we took the chance to cheer on wee Kevin Gallacher at Hampden Park as the Scots threw away a two-goal lead in the dying seconds of their qualifier against Belgium. 

During the day, we discovered that ex-Scots boss, Ally McCloud, was offered the United job back in the 1980's. How do we know? His son told us....

The day ended in disappointment for the Scots but for us it was a fabulous trip down memory lane - to a time when going to a match was one big party. Remember?
