It wasn't quite the over-the-wall cracker that "Got Carter" back in 1992 but Andy O'Brien ensured his place in local folklore alongside namesake Liam with his late equaliser on Saturday.

A small cameo to sum up the day - a small child, perhaps five or six,
standing by the side of the road throwing stones at the returning United
buses. By his side, an obviously proud mother, passing her little angel the
stones. The sooner they return to the Nationwide the better.

This time last year we had exactly the same league record - played 33 with 43 points in that no-man's land of 13th.

Bobby and Saturday's adversary, Peter Taylor, must be glad that they reserved their Gullit-like losing sequences for mid-season and not August.

Crazily, a victory over Leicester could give us a fighting chance of a place in the Intertoto. Something to console yourself with if the Foxes predictably halt their disastrous run of defeats.
