We Said

Tommy Craig commented:

"The weather was pretty poor but it looked like a tidy little crowd and I was pleased for Dunston.

"The young boys were very good, I was pleased with the way they performed. There was a lot of good football and two very good goals.

"I was pleased with the way they went about their business and I was able to sit back and enjoy the game. It was a really good exercise."

Waffle

A very young Toon side faced Northern League outfit Dunston Fed on Monday evening at Federation Park, as United filled a blank week in the reserve league calendar.

And despite the moist conditions, a decent crowd turned up and raised a few quid for the Fed, seeing a reasonable game for their three quid admission.
