Newcastle's
Seung-soo Park played 45 minutes and was then an unused replacement
for the senior side away at Aston Villa in the FA Cup less than 24
hours later.
Gunners goalkeeper Tommy Setford went one better, appearing as a
late substitute in Sunday's FA Cup tie against Wigan Athletic.

Newcastle's U21s failed to build on their fine 4-3 win away to Aston
Villa losing both a man and a goal in the closing stages of their
PL2 encounter with Arsenal at the home at Boreham Wood on Friday.
Caretaker coach Robbie Stockdale took charge of the side once again
and the game was scoreless until last week's hat-trick hero Matheos
Ferreira was shown a straight red card by referee Emily Heaslip in
the 80th minute.
The ten-man Magpies then were denied a point in the last minute of added
time when visiting goalkeeper Aidan Harris saved a penalty from Andre Harriman-Annous,
only for the Arsenal striker to react quickest and nod in the rebound.
A closely-contested first half saw Harris
make a fine stop with his feet to deny Brando Bailey-Joseph, while
United's Michael Mills shot against the upright six minutes after
his half time arrival from the bench.
Then came Ferreira's dismissal for an over the
top challenge on Callan Hamill on the touchline.
United held out until the sixth minute of added time when Logan Watts brought down Harriman-Annous inside the box and
he got up to convert at the second attempt.
The defeat saw United drop to 24th place in the 29-team league
with 12 points from 13 games.
