Newcastle U21s remain pointless after their opening three National League Cup ties, going down at Solihull Moors on Tuesday following losses at Tamworth and Boreham Wood.

Robbie Stockdale's side went ahead after just four minutes when striker Afner Ca's first time effort rebounded off the post and Alfie Seldon tucked home the loose ball - a first reserve goal for the 16 year-old midfielder.

Moors levelled eight minutes before the break when a left wing corner wasn't dealt with and a goalbound header reached Ben Wodskou, who nodded past George Mair.

What proved to be the winning goal then arrived ten minutes after the break, when half time replacement Elias Kachunga cut in from the right and set up Flynn Coffey to fire home.
